Fun on stage

Abby was on stage for one of our rehearsals the last weekend Adam and I both sang. She finally grew into the dress her Nana sent her!

Dancing in one of the lights.

Sharing her milk with me while I was trying to sing.

That weekend was Family Life Ministries weekend where we demonstrated how some of the children's programs go. We had our kidzone dancers up on stage with us and Abby was trying to do the moves with them.

Getting ready to jump!

Not a great hider...

Clearly, Abby needs to work on her hiding skills.  She did this on her own. "Where's Abby?"

"There she is!"

VBS dinner

Abby eating her dinner at the VBS celebration. She was playing peekaboo with Liz sitting to my left for a little while behind her food.

Then Tony was trying to get her to eat some more food - hence operation "eat this hot dog".

Watching VBS kids

We went to Tony's church to take part in the last day of VBS festivities. Abby sat in awe watching the little kids singing the songs they learned that week. Tony they took her up there to dance with them and she had a blast!

Ready to wake up

This is a picture of Abby's hand on top of my hand. She is reaching under her door.  In the mornings, I have her door closed since I am getting ready in the hallway. We keep a towel at the base if the door to block out the light and not wake her up. Lately, Abby has been waking up before I go in to wake her up. She will pull the towel into her room under the door and then put her hand out until I notice it. She'll ask, "Can I wake up?" I then have to convince her to stand up, pull the towel away from the door and back up so I can open the door to start getting her ready for the day.

They made a crown at daycare out if a paper plate and Abby loved prancing around in it that evening!

Picnic!

Abby decided to lay out her blankie like a picnic blanket during one of Adam's softball games. She worked hard to her all the edges right.

Then she wanted to cover the fence with it. Good effort, kid!
