Bubbles

Abby got some bubbles for Easter that kind of solidify and land on things. You can touch them, but then they kind of deflate. She was using her golf club to pop them because she didn't want to get her hands sticky.

Wet pants

Our home group from church has lots of kids in it. We meet at the Griffth's house and they have lots of fun toys to keep the kids entertained with (with an adult babysitter of course). This particular week, they played with a water table. Abby loves to play with/in water and got her pants completely soaked while playing. Our solution...who needs pants?? We just took them off before it was time to leave and walked to the car without pants!  We were just going home anyway, so you don't really need pants.

Utensils

We're working pretty hard on the utensil usage with Abby. She decided she wanted to use a spoon to eat the single Cheerios we were giving her. She would pick up a Cheerio, put it on her spoon and then launch it into her mouth.

"I did it, Mommy!"

Then she gave up and started grabbing them off the spoon and tossing them into her mouth by hand.

Hi Mommy! Cheese!

What a difference a couple of hours make in the morning. Abby went from all nos before church to crazy happy inbetween Sunday services. That's pretty normal these days.

No! Don't Touch it!

Sometimes abby is in "no" mode. This series of pictures she's saying "No, don't touch it" about me touching her leg to get her to sit by me, and then she doesn't want me to take her picture. "No, Mommy". I don't listen very well either :-)

Big girl bed

We got Abby Frozen bed sheets for her real bed with a nice safety rail attached. She loves sleeping in her Elsa bed and insists that we sing one chorus of Let It Go right before we leave her in bed each night.

Tyler's Birthday

We met up last month for Tyler's birthday and Abby loved getting to spend time with her uncle!

Here she is with a mouth full of cheese!

Getting those hairs cut!

Keith, that does mine and Adam's hair, insisted on doing Abby's hair too. We were finally able to coordinate an appointment to trim up her long hair.

There goes that eye...

Chalk

Abby just loves sidewalk chalk! They use it a lot at daycare so she's knows just what to do. She lays on her belly to do it. Don't worry, I washed her clothes as soon as we went inside.

She didn't like that it was getting on her hands so I kept wiping then off for her.

Workin' it out

Abby was trying to figure out how to work that little device in her hands. It's a machine that reads a book to her when she presses the cooresponding book title and symbol on the page. She purses her lips together when she tries to do it.

Mommy Shoes!

Abby is loving wearing our shoes lately. She's actually pretty good at walking around in them too...if she watches her feet while she walks.

Crafts

Abby makes fun crafts all the time either at daycare, Gammy and Poppy's house, or sometimes our church small group babysitter does crafts with them. We decided to keep some, but take pictures of most so we don't build up too much. Here are a few.

This one Abby's hand on Adam and my hands.

Bath time

Just doing a little cleaning...

She likes to suck water out of her wash cloth. Gross.

She was unhappy about something. Don't remember what.

You have to learn the right way...

As soon as we got home from Easter at the Etris house, Adam wasted no time getting Abby's first golf lesson in. He said,"If she's going to start pretending to play golf, she should pretend the right way! Now is not the time to start any bad habits!" She did make two of the four putts from that lesson. Good job, Daddy.

How many Etris' does it take to put together a Pez dispenser? The answer is three :-)  Tony, Abby, an Liz.

Easter Egg Hunt

Anytime Abby would find an egg (which was often), she would yell "I found it!" And we would have to remind her to put it into the basket so she could find more.

The eggs that Tony hid had little toys inside of them so we opened them all up to see what she had found!
