Actual Halloween

I realize I'm running behind on pictures. There's just so many that I have I can't keep up. Maybe while I'm in the hospital a I'll try to do multiple posts a day until I catch up to current pictures. That way you guys can see what's going on around the time I'm posting instead of two months ago!

Here was actual Halloween evening. Abby had a really fun time walking our neighborhood for treats. We got to meet a good amount of neighbors so it was good for all of us to be out there.

Trick or treat to stores

Tony and Kathy came with us to get candy from the stores in one of our shooing areas for Halloween. I was most excited when they gave us coupons!

Just some dinner time activities

Abby's favorite thing to do...play with condiments at restaurant tables :-)

Elsa

Here is Elsa ready to go get some candy for mommy and daddy around a shopping center.

She's using her powers to freeze something here.

Pictures of Dori

Abby was laying down on me while we were on the couch and kept asking me to take Dori's picture. My one condition was if she smiled too!

Eye Doctor

I don't think I posted these before, but there's a chance I'm repeating myself. This is when we took Abby to the eye doctor. She did pretty well with the drops to dialate her eyes (which is what she is modeling in these pics), and the doctor suggested an eye drop in her better eye to help her lesser eye become stronger. We had zero luck getting her to wear her eye patch stickers over the last year, so we're hoping this helps her out some-so at least her poor vision will be even :-)

Yee Haw!!

Here Abby is riding the horsey at one of the restaurants we go to, thanks to the quarters that Nana sent earlier this year. We save them for these machines only.

Somehow Adam thought this was a good idea...

Abby's birthday morning

Abby had a fine birthday morning yesterday. She woke up to a bag with a few small gifts in it and us singing to her. She was so excited to take cupcakes to her friends at school too. Can't believe she's actually 4 years old now!  At least I don't have to get crazy looks from people when I tell them she's three-because she's so stinking tall. Four is more believable :-)

Candy heaven

After the farm, Tony and Kathy went to the candy store for a bag full of treats!

The farm

Tony and Kathy took Abby to a farm one day so she could "feed" the animals. Looks like she was a little more than 50% successful!

Pumpkin

We went to a pumpkin carving party prior to Halloween at Abby's daycare. I'll say it was a combined effort to carve her pumpkin but she sure was proud of it. It sat out on our front porch until it started rotting and Abby was not happy about us having to throw it out.

Helping

I believe Abby was helping put away Adam's items in the closet here. She loves a good hat.

Goodbye house

When we got back from vacation, we had very limited time to get the house packed up and ready to move. Abby spent a lot of the week at Tony and Kathy's.  I made sure she was able to come home and take a quick last picture with her old bed in her old room. Moving on to bigger and better things!

Too tiny!

This picture marks the last time Abby will get to ride in one of these strollers at a mall. She managed to squeeze her long legs into this one and struggled to get in and out the whole time. No more strollers for Abby!

A few shots from our last dinner on the cruise.

Goofy

Abby danced a little with Goofy. He's always a fun guy!

Then...the storm

For the few minutes we played on the beach, we saw storm clouds rolling in. All of a sudden, the rain came pouring down and they evacuated the beach. Because they weren't sure how long the storm was going to be, they made everyone go under the shelters to wait it out. They wouldn't let anyone else off the boat to come either, so if we got back on, we wouldn't be able to come back out. So--we waited for hours under the shelter.

Abby had fun playing with the shells she had collected while on the beach.

After a while, she just wanted to lay on Adam. This is a picture of Abby leaning on Adam who has his hat and sunglasses on his head with the towel over his head. It was raining so hard with so much wind that even under this large shelter we were getting wet. They eventually brought out free ponchos to everyone to help keep us comfortable. You gotta love Disney.

Once it eased up a little bit, but they still weren't letting us out onto the beach, we decided to run over to a game shelter that no one was at. Abby played giant connect four while Adam and I played basketball, pool, and shuffleboard. All in all, it turned out to be a relaxing day. Just a wet one. Good thing we were wearing our bathing suits:-)

Day at the beach

We had one day at Disney's private island so we got up early to eat breakfast and then make it out there.

We got the perfect chairs and started playing in the sand and water.
