Shoes

Abby likes to put on our shoes and walk around in them. It's surprising how good she is at it. 

Piano Girl

Abby loves to sit at the keyboard and "play" the piano. She knows how to hit the demo button really well. 

Cheese!

This is what we get when we say "say cheese" to Abby. Sorry they're blurry, I tried to get as many pics as possible before she stopped. 

Princess

I found a "make it yourself" crown kit in the dollar spot area of Target a few weeks ago and we finally got around to making it. This didn't help Abby's "I want to be a princess" syndrome.  

First Movie Theater Movie!

Tony and Kathy took Abby to see her very first movie in the theater yesterday, Cinderella! She made it through the whole movie and loved chomping on popcorn the whole time!

Hold my hand

Abby was sitting with me on a Saturday morning and she just wanted to hold my hand/finger while she zoned out. She's been asking to hold our hands a lot in the car too. We reach back and hold hands while driving, of course, only when safe to do so.

Cheek kisses

Abby went through a one week span of doing this when we asked for a kiss. She barely opens her mouth and then puts her cheek and half her mouth on our cheek and just freezes there. Here's Adam taking advantage of the moment with her at Red Lobster.

We tried to get Abby to sit on this lawower in the mall and she wasn't gonna have it. 

Valentine's Day postponed

Because of all of the snow here in February, Valentines Day was postponed a little while at Abby's daycare. Here are pictures from the next morning when we went through the box she made to see all of the fun things her classmates and teachers gave her. She loved looking through them and nibbling on the candies that she got. 

Window Hazard

We only use the changing table at home when Abby poops in her pull-ups. Here she is making herself comfortable by propping her feet on the window sill before bed one night. 

Ketchup

Here is Tony with Abby at a new diner in town. Fries with ketchup seems to be the meal of choice. Yum!

Sitting Pretty

Abby just assumed her usual position on the couch when she got home from daycare one day so Adam loaded her up with a blanket and "friends".

Cracker Barrel puzzle

Everybody loves a good puzzle...Abby sure did. Gave her a chance to practice her numbers during the whole meal time :-)

Clover

Some friends of ours got Abby a little mint colored teddy bear for Valentine's Day. We named him Clover and she enjoys taking him in the car with her. 

She took him into McDonalds with us one morning we had to wait for daycare to open because if the snow.

We've been working a lot lately on getting this whole utensil thing down. We end up with lots of food on Abby's face and a good amount of overstuffed mouths. Here she is with her best efforts from this meal.

So tired

Abby fell asleep on our way from church to lunch one Sunday. When we got inside Outback to wait for a table she still didn't wake up. Once we gt to our table, she was so sleepy she just laid her head in Adam's lap while we ate. She did wake up towards the end of the meal and ate some food before we left. Her Sunday school class must have been REALLY fun that morning!

Abby really did enjoy her balloons that were tied to her. 

Where's Abby?

Abby spends a lot time at the church while we are practicing for weekend services and sometimes it's hard to keep track of her in the large sanctuary. Luckily, this week we had some balloons to tie to her so we could always see where she was in the room.

I'm not listening

Abby has started doing this weird thing where she turns around and stands up against a door when she's mad at us. It's like a self imposed timeout. She just can't handle looking at us when we don't do/give her what she wants. I believe this time she was mad I wouldn't give her a bite of the cake I had just made for someone else. We try not to let her hear us laughing :-)

Somehow, Kathy gets Abby to sit still long enough to play with her hair. I am not so lucky.
