When we were leaving the mall this week, we saw the radio station van and Abby got really excited when she noticed Adam on it! 

Malloween 2015

Halloween at the mall was this week and Abby went in her costume. She enjoyed being Minnie Mouse and carried her boyfriend around with her just in case there was any doubt who she was.  Isn't she a doll??

Mommy's glasses

Not the best lighting, but Abby kept putting on my sunglasses while we were at lunch one day. Stylin!

Abby decided to line up her bath tiles all in one line. I kept trying to convince her to start a second row so she could fit them all easily and she refused.

Sick day

Abby started getting sick two weekends ago. She woke up Saturday morning and said, "I have a bad cough." We giggled at her in disbelief because she was fine the night before, and then she coughed...yikes! She was right! I spent that Saturday with her, the next day I was serving in the kids area at church and Adam was singing, so rather than put her in her Sunday school class and infect the rest of the kids, we handed her off back and forth between us during services. These pictures are from last Monday when I worked from home so she didn't infect her daycare class either. Her spirits were much better as the day went on. She's doing well now, with just the occasional leftover cough.

Not sure where this strange smile came from but she posed for me inbetween church services in Adam's office last week.

Sometimes Abby doesn't want her picture taken. Oh well...

Pumpkin painting at daycare

Abby's daycare teacher, Miss Adrienne, had a pumpkin painting evening with her class and Abby had a blast! Her little pumpkin now lives in the living room, watching us all night long!

Pizza at daycare

Adam and I both were able to join Abby at daycare Friday afternoon for some pumpkin decorating activities. Beforehand, they had pizza for everyone.

Abby loved getting to "be a pig" at Rich's Farm after the hay ride. Maybe we'll have to go every year to compare pictures... Until she's 18 or so...that would be fun.

Hay ride selfies!

The church had their annual staff cookout and this year it was at Rich's Farms. They have a pumpkin patch, hay ride, corn maze, farm animals; and then for the adults on weekends, haunted maze and haunted house. The church rented out the whole place so we were free to roam in the non-haunted section (weekday). Here we are riding on the hay ride. 

She didn't want to take this one...clearly.

Just getting out clothes off to get into the bath! Sometimes her shirt gets stuck on her head :-)

Where's Abby??

Abby started hiding over behind some room dividers in the church office one day. The weird thing is, when I got my phone out to take this picture, she said from behind the wall, "I don't want a picture!" My phone was on silent so I have no idea how she could tell I was taking a picture. Crazy!

Can I sing?

Abby kept coming up to me during worship rehearsal this weekend asking if she could sing. How could I say no to a face like this??  I would pick her up so she could hum along in my microphone with us.

I want to read dinosaurs...

Abby is loving "reading" lately...which looks more like "opening a book and staring at it".  She does really get into it, though, as you can see. That first page must have been extremely rivoting. 

Forwards or backwards??

We're not sure which way Adam's hat looks better on Abby. Forwards or backwards? I'll be honest, both look pretty good to me!

Glam!

Tony sent this picture yesterday. They're getting stuff ready to move into their new house and going through some of Kathy's mom's things. Now...to convince Abby that this is NOT going to be her winter coat this year...

No sharing with Lexi

Lexi is pretty smart. She noticed Abby had a snack cup with no lid on it and sat down next to her waiting to steal a cracker out of that cup. She did get a few until I told Abby to not share with her. 

Waiting for dinner

We went out to dinner with Tony and Kathy on Monday and there was quite a long wait. Abby was mostly patient once she realized there was a giant bowl of rocks in the waiting area! Her favorite!

It's the simple things in life that she appreciates.

While I was away at a Bible study, Abby was trying to offer toys to Lexi. She kept laying things down in front of her, telling her to play with it. Lexi could care less.

Abby woke up this morning and knocked on her door to wake me up. I woke up to someone banging on a door and I wasn't sure if it was the front door or what. When I went to get her, she had gotten into the hat stash that is stored on the back of her door. She really wanted this hat on so I slid it on for her. She kept it on for about an hour before saying she was done with it.
