Too tiny!

This picture marks the last time Abby will get to ride in one of these strollers at a mall. She managed to squeeze her long legs into this one and struggled to get in and out the whole time. No more strollers for Abby!

Last dinner

A few shots from our last dinner on the cruise.

Then...the storm

For the few minutes we played on the beach, we saw storm clouds rolling in. All of a sudden, the rain came pouring down and they evacuated the beach. Because they weren't sure how long the storm was going to be, they made everyone go under the shelters to wait it out. They wouldn't let anyone else off the boat to come either, so if we got back on, we wouldn't be able to come back out. So--we waited for hours under the shelter. 

Abby had fun playing with the shells she had collected while on the beach. 

After a while, she just wanted to lay on Adam. This is a picture of Abby leaning on Adam who has his hat and sunglasses on his head with the towel over his head. It was raining so hard with so much wind that even under this large shelter we were getting wet. They eventually brought out free ponchos to everyone to help keep us comfortable. You gotta love Disney. 

Once it eased up a little bit, but they still weren't letting us out onto the beach, we decided to run over to a game shelter that no one was at. Abby played giant connect four while Adam and I played basketball, pool, and shuffleboard. All in all, it turned out to be a relaxing day. Just a wet one. Good thing we were wearing our bathing suits:-)

Day at the beach

We had one day at Disney's private island so we got up early to eat breakfast and then make it out there. 

We got the perfect chairs and started playing in the sand and water. 

Pirate night

One night on the boat was Pirate themed. Here Abby is with Mickey that evening.

Ice cream progression

Abby was enjoying an ice cream cone a little too much while on the ship and was getting it all over her hands, face, and neck. This was her reaction when I first pointed it out, and then I started laughing at the fact that she managed to get it on her neck somehow. 

And then she felt silly :-)

Still going to keep enjoying that cone though!

Sofia and Doc

Abby loved getting to meet the characters on the cruise. The lines were way shorter and more air conditioned than seeing them in the parks. She talked about who she met the whole trip.

First day on the big boat

Abby was really excited to ride on the big boat where Mickey lives! Here are some shots around the ship. 

Purple Cheetah Dinosaur!!

So-Abby has been obsessed with purple cheetahs lately for some reason. I don't even know that she has seen one, but she loves the cheetah on Disney Junior's "The Lion Guard", so maybe she just translated that to her favorite color-purple. Anyway-we were able to get into the Animal Kingdom after hours because of the Extended Magical Hours that Tony and Kathy get access to being Vacation Club members. We hung out in the Dino-land area where Abby kept saying she wanted a Purple Cheetah Dinasaur. Well, low and behold, Aunt Liz won her a Purple Cheetah Dinasaur from one of the carnival games! It was a dream come true for Abby and she still sleeps with that thing sometimes - this week even. (I try to get her to rotate the animals she sleeps with since she has so many) All the more reason why Abby loves her Aunt Liz!
