Twirls

I finally got Abby into a dress that Memaw sent her. It's still a tiny bit too big, but she doesn't mind. Bigger dress, bigger twirls!

Long Day

Turtle!

I bought a little "Squirt" stuffed animal for Abby while were in Cumberland last weekend. Squirt is the kid sea turtle in the movie Finding Nemo. She loves him and gave him big hugs all the way home after I gave him to her. 

I Love It!

Tony took Abby swimming on Father's Day afternoon. She had a blast! She raised her hands up and said, "I love it!!"

Always time for a cuddle when putting shoes on. 

Chillin with the fam

While we were at Tony and Kathy's for Father's Day, Abby decided that this was the best "seat" in the house. Elbows on the couch, legs on Tyler's ankles. Looks sturdy enough!

Minions

Tony and Kathy took Abby to see the new Pixar movie, Inside Out, while Adam and I were in Maryland this weekend. They said she LOVED it and really enjoyed the previews! She eats popcorn and relaxes through the whole movie.  Here she is posing with the minions display at the theater.

Food out

Here's Abby attempting to eat from a nice cream cone. She sucked on it rather than licking it, so we'll have to keep working in that.

Fake smile

I tried to get pictures of Abby chasing bubbles around our front porch, but she wouldn't be still enough. Instead, I said "smile!" And she gives me this fake smile, which is pretty cute, but lasted only a few  seconds while she took a break from running around. 

Time out

We went to a little burrito place downtown one night and Abby was getting a little hyper running around while Adam and I were giving our orders. We made her sit at a table in time out and she sat there quietly while we finished up. But she wasn't happy about it! 

Wake up from nap time!

When Abby wakes up in a good mood (which is most of the time now), she is so cute. She'll ask some questions and just chat with me. 

Watch out for that eye!

Train ride

Tony rode with Abby in the little train that drives around the mall and she loved it! She carried her train ticket around with her for the next couple if days. 

Froyo

Tony and Kathy took Abby to the mall while Adam and I watched a movie last week. Evidently Abby commandeered Tony's frozen yogurt at some point and made it her own. "Who, me??"

Princess

Abby has been asking us to tie her blankie around her neck like a super hero lately. Cape style. This has progressed into what she is now calling Princess. So depending on whether she wants to prance around like a princess (Sophia the First) or fly like a superhero, she tells us how to tie her blankie and then she sticks with that look for the rest of the day, wherever we go. 

Daddy Chair

It's the newest rage, a Daddy chair! Everyone should get one!

PG-13

While Adam was getting Abby ready for bed one night, she was getting prissy and crossing her legs on the toilet. 

Where's Abby?

I had to work from home with Abby while Tony and Kathy were away and she was being very creative in entertaining herself. Here, she covered herself up and sat to here for a minute waiting for me to notice. 

After a little while, I set her up with a movie so she could lay down and watch. She finished the whole movie!

Tickle Monster!

Ashley was tickling Eli while we were at their house and Abby came up and asked for a turn.  Here they are together!

Memorial Day fun

Here are the kiddos chillin on the Griffith's porch "bed" swing that Chad made for Ashley. We've got Eli, Gavin, Sam, and Abby. Abby is used to hanging with the boys :-)

Abby got to swing with Gavin and the Griffiths one night during home group. 

She really enjoyed it. Guess we'll be buying a swing set once we get into our new house!

Drinking

Tony was letting Abby drink out if his water bottle (with some assistance of course). She would ask, "In there??" Yes, you can have some water in there. 

Gammy Love

We spent some time with Tony and Kathy before they left on their 2 week California trip. Here's Abby soaking in some Gammy time.

Abby was making the cutest faces while she was eating some pretzel sticks. She would offer me one, and when I took it and said thank you, she would make this funny smile.
