Mrs Ashley's braiding skills

I am going to go ahead and claim that Ashley Griffith should've had a girl to accompany her two boys...because look at these braiding skills! She managed to keep Abby still enough for long enough to get these beautiful braids in. That is magical. 

Selfies for bedtime

We sit on the loveseat in Abby's room before bedtime every night. We do everything from reading books and praying, to taking selfies and singing songs. Whatever it takes. And yes, she was holding onto a medicine bottle in the first one. She just likes to hold things. 

Mashed Potatoes

Abby is still working on figuring out the right amount of food to put on her silverware during meals. 

She got mad at us for something here...we probably wouldn't give her something she wanted...so she taught us a lesson by turning away from us. Adam went ahead and turned her chair since that's what she was doing. She stayed there for a good 15 minutes. Boy, did I learn my lesson!

Roaming the parking lot

I was trying to take a picture of Abby as she roamed the Applebee's parking lot, bit she wouldn't look up at me. Daycare got her hair up in that cute ponytail again. They're magicians...

Monsta shoes!

I got some house shoes that are monster feet and Abby is always asking if she can wear them. Well, she says "monsta shoes??"  That's how she asks. But she wears then like a champ!

Hangin' at the ballpark

Abby likes going to Adam's softball games so she can play with her bubbles, pick flowers, and pick out new rocks for her collection. 

Seesaw

Abby was having some fun on a seesaw with her Uncle Tyler after our Mother's Day brunch. 

Lunchtime activities

I got Abby a notebook with colored pencils a few weeks ago to keep her busy at restaurants and during church services when she comes to the big service. She gets lost in drawing time. 

Here, she is drawing with her neck. Pretty impressive. And yes, that is another rock that she picked up outside and carried with her for the rest of the day. 

Pit Stop

A couple of weekends ago, I brought Abby with me to deliver a cake (the blue one that looked like petals). On our way home I made an impromptu stop at a playground to let her run around before we went back home. We were only there for 10 minutes at the most, but she enjoyed herself. Her favorite part was the gravel on the ground...all those rocks to choose from!

The Collector

When I'm getting Abby ready in the morning, she is constantly looking around the room for things to hold. She ends up dragging whatever that is out of the room when we head downstairs to leave for the day and I have to bargain with her on what things continue into the car and what stays in the house. Not sure why she likes her diaper cream so much. 

No, Mommy!

I started taking pictures of Abby on this Saturday morning and once she realized what I was doing, she decided she didn't want her picture to be taken. 

Squeeze my neck!

Adam tells Abby to give him a real hug and squeeze his neck. She does it at first, but then she backs up and squeezes his face tight too, like that's part of the hug. 

Our little singer

We found a toy microphone at an outlet store while we were in Pennsylvania. It's kind of large, but Abby loves to sing into anything, so we figured we should get her a microphone. She broke this soon after by dropping it on a tile floor. I went back to the store and bought three more just in case :-) (they were only 88 cents!) She is "singing" up a storm lately!

Putt Putt

He really thinks he can teach her the right way at two years old...good luck Adam.  She did turn out to be useful for picking our balls up out of the hole though! Just another way we are using our daughter to be more lazy :-)

Saturday Mornings

Even when we were in Pennsylvania a couple of weekends ago, Saturday mornings go the same. Abby runs around with her pajamas on before we get her glasses on. She's extra giggly with that flashlight.

Bowling

We got to go bowling while we were in the Poconos last weekend (PA). Abby loves playing. 

Bumba bee

Abby has a new fascination with flashlights. She wants to turn them on and shine them on things and pretend that it's a bee flying around. She yells "bumba bee!"

Farm

Tony got to take Abby to a kids day at a farm in town and she loved it!  Old Mcdonald  had a farm is one of her favorite songs to sing lately so she loved getting to see all the animals!  Here are some of the pictures Tony took and sent me.
