Good morning!

One morning, Abby went right over to her rocking chair to sit for a while instead of getting ready for the day. We took a moment to cuddle and then went on to get her clothes on. 

Riley!

Abby loves Tyler and Liz's dog, Riley. She comes to Kathy and Tony's house when we all get together for something and Abby is a giggle box when she gets to play with her. 

Winding down

She seems to be frozen still after her bath, sitting in her pjs, ready to go to bed. This was clearly a Minnie themed evening. 

Mommy's five dollar find

Found a cute little sweater dress the other day for Abby and I was pleased with how it looked on her. I love a good deal.

Abby loves to watch funny animal internet videos while cuddling with Adam.

Surprise! It's Abby's! She kept putting her hand in my face to support it while we were cuddling. 

Ponytails

Abby's hair looks so pretty in a ponytail. It's is extremely rare that she sits still long enough for me to pull her hair back though. They're also not very compatible with a car seat, so I don't even try to pull her hair back in the mornings. See how pretty??

Souvenirs

Tony and Kathy went on a short trip and brought back some fun things for Abby that she loved. Some Princess Sofia things (from Disbey Junior) and a tea cup set from Beauty and the Beast. She was very excited!

Birthday Party

Abby had a LOT if excitement while she was at Gavin's birthday party. I couldn't get a non moving picture of her she was having so much fun. 

Dentist appointment

We went back to the dentist a few weeks ago and Abby did so well! She sat in my lap the whole time and they were able to get off the remaining stains on her teeth from the Iron drops we had to put in her milk when she was younger. She now has sparkling white teeth!  One negative...she must have swallowed a lot of toothpaste because she threw up in the office lobby while we were packing up to go home. Yucky. 

Sleepyhead

Abby fell asleep while we were sitting on the couch one day. Looks a little uncomfortable...

Mommy is working...

I had to work from home one day because we didn't have childcare and I set up shop at the dining room table. Abby decided she wanted to set up shop under the table to play with my house shoes and her toys. Here she is peeking out at me during a conference call I was on. 

 

Sunday morning

Giddy up!

Couldn't get a nice in focus picture, but Abby LOVED riding this horsey after dinner one night! She kept saying "giddy up!" She had a hard time leaving it when it was time to go. 

Always waiting to eat

Here's Abby being patient, waiting for her lunch to come out. Adam and I had started a round of bingo where we were and she was happy to just play with her tiny Minnie. She's rocking her like a baby.

Abby loves the Doc McStuffins doctor toys she got for Christmas from Lawson, Alison, and Ruth. This particular day, I thought she looked like she had scrubs on...practicing to be a doctor or nurse. 

Pantry

When I am in the kitchen, Abby likes to be in there with me most of the time. She plays with her alphabet letter magnets on the fridge and also likes to play with things in the pantry. I only keep things on the shelves she can reach that it's ok for her to play with. This day, I look over, and instead of playing with things in the pantry, she has cleared herself a little seat on the bottom shelf to relax on.  She just sat there watching for a little while. 

Tickle?

When we went to the orthopedic doctor, we were concerned when he started pulling and pushing, bending, and poking Abby to check her out. Then, we saw her face smiling and she started asking, "tickle??" She thought he was trying to tickle her! She did so well and the dr said she did not need to wear her ankle braces anymore! Let's pray that 2015 will continue to be a minor medical issue free year!

Peanut Butter Sandwich

I don't remember why this was happening, but Abby seems to be eating a meal in Adam's lap. She loves a half peanut butter sandwich these days. I wish I didn't hate the smell of peanut butter so much!  Aren't they cute??
