Twinkle, twinkle...

One of Abby toys, her "lap-pup" (laptop shaped like a puppy head), sings Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She is started to mumble/sing along with things (finally!) and was trying to sing along with with this. I showed her how to make a shape with her hand and hold it high like a star. Now, whenever she sings this song, she attempts to do the same. 

So...this happened...

We went to the mall the day after Christmas just to see what deals we could find. After a while, Abby wanted out of the stroller to walk around. This was her big idea of how to get out. She is stuck there, but I had to get a picture before I helped her out. 

The day after...

The day after Christmas we all had off so we just relaxed at home and played with all of our new toys.

Family pics for Christmas 2014

We took a couple pictures with Abby before we left from our fun filled Christmas Day. 

While Tony was working on cleaning some dishes, Abby walked into the kitchen with her chair, put it right in front of the sink, and sat down. I guess the cabinets were very fascinating. 

Poppy's Hat

Abby wore Tony's hat for a little while when we were playing games. She chilled out with some of her new toys and then just walked around to check stuff out. 

She'll Fix you up!

Abby pretending to be a doctor with her new Doc McStuffins toys. She kept looking in our ears for bugs, giving us shots, and listening to our hearts. Then she decided to check out her toys to make sure they were in good shape. 

Playtime

Tony and Kathy got Abby this little kitchen to play with. It did NOT come assembled.  Since I like puzzles, and Abby went down for a nap, I tackled the kitchen. It took me the full two hours of her nap time to get it together. Yikes! She loves it though!

More gifts!

I'm happy that not only does Abby enjoy unwrapping gifts, but she actually enjoys and plays with them. She really enjoyed everything she got!

2nd Brunch

When went over to Tony and Kathy's house on Christmas Day to spend the day with them and Memaw (Kathy's mom), we had some more food before presents. Abby was having a hard time being patient to wait for more presents after her excitement that morning.

When we got to Kathy and Tony's house on Christmas Day, Tony had his reindeer hat on for Abby. She loved it!

Christmas Brunch

Abby continued the Culver tradition of eating Christmas brunch after opening gifts Christmas Day. She doesn't normally like sausage, but she did when it was combined with egg and cheese!

Christmas morning sleepyhead

On Christmas morning, Abby gave us the gift of sleeping in! We had to go in and wake her up around 9am! She got to wear her new Santa pajamas and seemed well rested and ready for some festivities!
