Mornings

This is usually the view from my car after I drop Abby off at Tony and Kathy's house in the mornings. She's waving and saying "cheese" because she saw I was taking a picture!

Ok-last round of potty pics! Abby loved potty training because she had every second of my attention to sit and read or color or do whatever she wanted.

This was our activity area for the day. I let her color and then we read a lot of books...with lots of snacks around.

For our potty training efforts, I fed Abby lots of snacks all day to try to make her thirsty and drink a lot of fluids. She loved getting to eat constantly! Here she is in her big girl underwear with plastic pants on top (to protect our carpets!)

Curly hair

Here's Abby goofing around after bath time but before bed. Her hair was super curly this night. It mostly falls out when she sleeps on it. 

Girl loves to drive

Here's a picture Tony sent of Abby "driving" the stroller at the mall while we were in Pigeon Forge. Once we get a bigger house and a driveway and yard, she's going to love getting a tiny car. 

Poppy!

One if the best things about picking Abby up from daycare is when she looks up to notice that you're there, runs towards you, and screams your name. Tony and Kathy got to pick her up for us a couple of weeks ago and it made Tony's day to walk in and her scream, Poppy!!

Mood swings

When Abby gets in trouble, she covers her face and thinks we can't see her, or turns away and closes her eyes for the same reason. This happened to be a morning she was really moody and screaming all morning. When I turned around to console her, she thought she was in trouble and started in with her usual responses...

Not asleep here...just being dramatic...

Phones

So, naturally, Abby loves playing with our phones. She calls them by what the locked screen picture is. Mine is Pooh. Adam's is Abby and my work phone is Daddy. She is actually in all of the pictures, but since Adam's phone only has her face really big, it gets named Abby.  She also enjoys "playing" the ABCs on one of her apps, so she often picks a phone up and says "ABCs??" Here she is trying to break the pass code on my work phone...she gave up eventually. 

Killing time

Here are more pics from us killing time inbetween services at church.  She's just looking into the gym from an upstairs area. 

Marshmallows

At the church coffee bar, there are also cappuccino options as well as hot chocolate available. Next to the hot chocolate machine is a giant container of marshmallows. They put tiny little condiment cups next to it so the kids won't fill up a full cup of marshmallows when they want them. When Abby gets antsy between services, I've just started getting her get a little cup of marshmallows to enjoy. She's very grateful and cute when she tries to actually say "marshmallow" :-)

Church practice

I had a small part in a skit a few weekends ago at church, so Abby tagged along for practice as usual. 

Hold on, I'm on a call...

We let Abby use my old cell phone. It has a couple of Fischer price apps on it that she loves. She had it in the car on our way home one evening. When I came around to get her out of the car, she was sitting like this. She didn't turn towards me until I asked her to and it seemed she was having a pretty good time speaking with whoever she was "talking" to. 

In between services

Abby and I wonder around the church in between services on weeks that Adam and I are both serving. This time we wandered outside and I guess she was tired because she found a brick on the sidewalk and decided she needed to sit down and take a rest. 

Who knows

I don't remember what was happening here except that I know Abby wasn't in trouble or sad. She was making these faces and I just started taking her picture.   We were laughing at her though, so she ended up with a smile at the end. 

Cuddles on the couch

Abby really loves cuddling on the couch with us! I don't mind it, either ;-)

Brushing those teeth

I got Abby an electric toothbrush so she wouldn't hate brushing her teeth so much. It only took a week to remember she hates brushing her teeth. At least I was able to get some pics when she did enjoy it.

Abby is really loving getting her picture taken lately. Keeping her still is always going to be an issue, but she's getting better.
