Cheese

This is the face Abby makes when you say "cheese!"  And she actually says "cheese" as well. 

She was getting her technology fill that day!

Sunday church

When Adam and I both serve on the weekends, Abby has to be in the nursery for both services on Sunday. We pick her up in between services to let the nursery volunteers switch out. That's between 45 min to and hour (I usually grab her out after the worship set of the first service) that we wander around the church and play around or eat a snack. 

Church

We take Abby to worship rehearsals on Saturday quite often. They seem to wear her out while we wait for the service to start. Here she is chillin in the lobby. 

Sick at Gammy's house

Abby got sick the week she got back from vacation. Daycare does that to a girl. Kathy sent me this pic of Abby enjoying her breakfast to show me she was doing just fine at Gammy and Poppy's house!

No glasses

Here's Abby one morning that she decided to get up early-while I was still getting ready. I just plopped her down in our bed and let her sit there while I finished up. I hadn't gotten her glasses on her yet. 

Driving already

I say it's never too early to learn the rules of the road!

I'm back!

When Abby, Tony, and Kathy got back from being in Daytona for the week without Adam and I, Abby was in a very perky mood when I went to pick her up!

Extra pics

Tony sent some pictures that he took during the week they had Abby in Daytona. This first one, Abby picked up Kathy's journal and a pen and went and crawled up in a chair on the balcony..likely to do some journaling!

When Tony was packing up the car to leave, Abby disappeared (this was in the hotel room) and he ended up finding her sitting on the luggage rack waiting for a ride!

Abby will push anything around with wheels...

Sleepy time

Our meal at Joe's Crab Shack took forever so Abby ended up getting a little tired towards the end. She was happy to sit in Adam's lap until we left. 

Shark

Our waiter at Joe's Crab Shack gave Abby a shark to play with during dinner and then to take home. She loved it!

The Pier

We were able to go out on the windy pier in Daytona even though the weather wasn't amazing. Abby was content to hold on to her stuff and watch everything around her.

Pool time.

When we went to Daytona after Disney, the weather wasn't great. We decided to spend some time in the indoor pool instead. 

Binoculars

Abby enjoyed playing with Tony's binoculars while we were in Daytona. As if her thick glasses weren't enough to help her see, she has to use binoculars too!

The Carousel of Progress

One of our favorite "rides" at Disney is The Carousel of Progress. It's the one that you sit in an air conditioned theater that slowly moves from stage from to stage front in a circle and shows one family in many different eras. It's one of the calmer rides. Abby just plopped herself down in Liz's lap and was amazed by the whole thing!

Belle

We had a great experience on the new Belle ride in Magic Kingdom. It's an interactive story time with Belle and she actually sat in the floor to take pictures with Abby. Unbelievably precious!
