Park

We went to a park last weekend to play. Abby seemed a little scared of the swings this go around for some reason. She didn't want to hold onto the swing anywhere so he just kind of floated inside. Then we hit the slides and she LOVED it! I held her as she moved down but she wanted to do it over and over! 

Bath

Abby gets really excited when I tell her it's bath time. She "runs" to the side of the tub and waits for me to turn the faucet on so she can hold her hands under the running water. 

Happy kid

Kathy sent this cute pic of Abby the other day. Seems she was doing just fine 😃

Blanket fort

Daddy made a blanket fort for Abby while I was serving at church last weekend!

No fear!

We went to watch Adam's softball game and Abby actually walked around in the grass! She seems to be over her fear of grass now. 

Church

Abby's big enough now to be able to keep her own chair weighted down at church. It doesn't fold up on her :-)  Now, does she actually stay seated? Not really...but it's a start. 

Humid hair

Abby's hair gets really curly when it's humid around her. Case in point : bath time. 

Shorts are the best!

We're enjoying Abby getting to wear shorts now with the weather a little warmer. Now if we can just get it to stop raining so much, we could go outside to enjoy it!

Sitting pretty

This was Abby at her eye doctor appointment. She loved this little chair and kept trying to hop into it. I love how she had her little legs crossed in the one picture!

 Her check up went fine. The glasses are just what she needed!

Sound sleeper

Sometimes this is how I find Abby in the morning. 

My little gardener

I took Abby outside to help me pull weeds last week since it was so nice out. I gave her a spoon to play with and she started digging in the dirt all on her own. She would also pull any green parts of weeds (like a tiny clover leaf) and try to put it in my trash bag like I was doing with the weeds I was pulling. We had a fun time :-)

Killing time

Eli Griffith was in the hospital last week after a scary fall so we decided to go visit. We picked up dinner for him and his Mom and Dad (Ashley and Chad). This is us hanging out in the parking lot waiting for the food to be ready. 

 

Work from home

Tony and Kathy were out of town last week so I got to work from home most days to take care of Abby. She wanted to be next to me most of the time. 

Tummy ache

On the ride back from Atlantic City, we think Abby's belly might have been bothering her. She wouldn't eat much at all and she wasn't realy using the bathroom. She would scream for hours in the car a o we made some extra stops to let her get up and stretch. Here was our last stop where Adam rubbed her belly for a while and she finally pooped!

Pushing

Sometimes we let Abby push her stroller. She's pretty good at it :-)

Mom time

While we were in Atlantic City, Abby and I got to spend the evenings together so Adam could play a game or two in the casinos. Here's some pictures from those nights. Oh--and I treated myself to some fried Oreos while we were out on the steel pier amusement park together...YUM!

Mickey

Abby loves Mickey Mouse. When we were at a dinner buffet, Abby was in a bit of a fussy mood, so we pulled out Mickey to cheer her up. Works like a charm. 

Atlantic City Aquarium

We went to the three story AC Aquarium last weekend. It was a quaint little place. Turns out, Abby loves the fish!! There were "hands on" tanks for her to touch some--which she mostly just wanted to splash in the water-so that didn't last long :-) The second series of fish is a puffer fish "unpuffed". After waving at it, she tried to kiss it through the glass. Adorable as always. 

Jacuzzi tub

Because the pool was cold and crowded, we decided to move to the jacuzzi tub in our hotel room in our bathing suits. Abby loved the bubbles!

Pool

Here we are in her little float that she loves in the indoor pool. She loves to splash the water that collects on the float in front of her. 

Bathing suit

We picked up a bathing suit so we could swim in the indoor pool while we were at Atlantic City. It was so cute on her, but I was having a hard time getting a good picture of her not moving around. So here's the best I got!

Matching

Adam and Abby matched for the day we spent walking on the Boardwalk. 

Stretching

We're in Atlantic City for a long weekend trip. Yesterday, we walked the boardwalk for most of the day and stopped in the casinos/hotels to walk around and see the decorations. Abby was in the stroller for most of the day so we would take her out every once in a while to let her roam around and stretch her legs. Here she is begging for a piece of what I was eating and walking around.
