Diaper time

Abby soaked herself during a nap last weekend. It's very rare that it happens, but I just decided to forgo the clothes until we had time for a bath. She enjoyed herself!

Driving

Abby likes to think she's driving so we put her in the grocery cart and turn it around. Then we push it from behind so it looks like she's driving and pulling us along. She loves it!

Petco

We stopped in Petco while we were running some errands last week. They were having some sort of dog adoption event so there were lots of dogs roaming the store for Abby to point at. "Dog, woof!" Here she is pointing at the mice and the birds. 

Bubbles

I've been using bubbles a lot lately with Abby. She loves them! Can't get any action shots, but here she is playing with the bottle after we finished. On a side note, her fear of grass extends to our front door mat- fake grass. 

Glasses in the tub

I thought I'd leave Abby's glasses on her while in the tub before I wash her hair. She enjoyed getting to see her toys.

I was trying to show Abby what I put on her head (Bunny Ears from her Easter basket) and she decided to take her picture. 

Hi there

Helper

Abby likes to play in the kitchen while I'm making dinner. Hopefully, that means that one day she will want to help me out some, but we'll just have to wait and see. 

Still Easter

Here we are at Adam's grandmother's place for lunch on Easter. They always have a nice buffet on holidays. 

Easter at church

She was very tired in between services so we took her into the offices to try to lay down and rest. She didn't sleep, but made it through the second service just fine. She's always laughing and playing in the nursery when we pick her up!

Surprise outfit

We passed off Abby to Kathy and Tony for the afternoon in jeans and a onesie while Adam and I did our final rehearsals for Easter services. When they brought her to the service at 6:30, she was in this fun outfit with pigtails!  She was adorable running through the lobby at church! So cute!

Egg hunt

This morning was the Easter egg hunt at CMA-the church that Tony is the children's pastor at. Abby got lots of chocolate for mommy and daddy. How considerate :-)

Lights

Here's Abby at worship practice last weekend. She will stay down on the floor in front of the stage for a little while and play with her toys. Then she gets antsy and has to come up on stage with us. She loves to watch the lights. The last picture is her trying to touch the light that comes out of one machine. She kept putting her arm into the beam and then looking at me. 

Easter shoes

Abby's Easter dress is yellow. I bought some silver shoes for her online and they were way too big for her. While we were at Walmart last night, we found these little yellow sandles. They should work well as long as it's semi warm that day. We let her walk around in them so she could get used to the thong being in between her toes!  Oh--and we are only buying 18 mth clothes for her now so she can wear things longer. She'll only be in 12 mths for a few more weeks we're thinking.

Stuffed animals

I have started rotating baskets of toys with Abby to keep things fresh. I'll only put down one each day. Yesterday's was the stuffed animal basket. She had a great time bringing them over to me to hold and making them clap their hands and just sorting through them. She's pretty easy to please :-)

Vroom!

Tony and Kathy took Abby to Pennsylvania yesterday to run some errands. Kathy texted us this picture of Abby in the carts at the mall. She said Abby seemed to think she was really driving it!

Workin away

Lots of faces and lots to do in the bathtub last night. 

Allergist

After discussing medical history with the allergist yesterday, they decided to test Abby for any nut allergies. Eight pricks and 20 minutes later, nothing turned positive other than the example prick (bottom right).  Abby didn't cry at all. She thought it was fun that she got to play in the room without her shirt on! We went to her other dr appt to get her immunization shots after that. Three shots-only 4-5 minutes of screaming. Then I think she forgot...until I took off her band aids last night. Overall---pretty successful dr appts!

Piano

Abby is so funny. Every once in a while, she starts playing with one of her toys like she's never played with it before. She'll press a button and then look shocked at the noise it makes. Very silly.
