Abby was in a silly mood this night and I couldn't get a smile out of her-just some goofy faces. 

Piano girl

We play the keyboard a lot at home and let Abby dance around. Here's Adam letting Abby play along with one of the demos that you can set to play.

Since we haven't been with Abby the last few days, here's a few vega pics of me and Adam!

Took a screen shot while face timing Abby today. We were all happy to see each other :-) love my girl.

Here we are at the morning stop by the mirror on our way downstairs. We normally make a few faces in the mirror before heading out. 

Bath toys

Abby really enjoys her bath time now. We have lots of bath toys to play with and she crawls around from end to end to explore. 

Sleepy head

Here is Jenny Daily ad Abby last night at the church service. We had her with us during the whole practice from 2:30-6:30 and then passed her off to Jenny (the children's director), who she loves, to sit in the worship service while we are singing. When we're done signing, I meet jenny in the back and switch to take Abby during the sermon. Jenny said she fell asleep right before I started singing Oceans (http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=eLqTZ07ja7g is really close to the version we do) and she stayed asleep on me until about five minutes before the end of the service. We must have worn her out!

Cuddles

Lip Gloss

Abby sees me put my lip gloss on all the time and has started pursing her lips when I do it. I pretend to put some gloss on her lips and she pretends to smack her lips like I do. Very cute. Last night I gave her one of my lip glosses to play with (lid on of course). She stood in front of me and played with it for 1 1/2 hours. I even pulled her into my lap for a while and she sat quietly playing with it. 

Hi!

Abby likes to kiss now. Here she is trying to come in for a kiss and then a pic of her smile afterwards. It's one of those sloppy wet open mouth kisses that I direct to my cheek :-) and then she gives a big grin afterwards. 

Bed time

Here's Abby right before bed time yesterday. Doesn't look very tired, huh?

A few books later she was in bed ready to go to sleep!

Standing

Abby is officially a stander. She pulls up to stand really well now and likes to get into anything she can reach. Good thing about that is that it keeps us from having any piles around the house--say the mail tossed onto the loveseat. She'll find it. And she thinks she's so funny!

Shoes

We tried these crocs on Abby this weekend to see if they fit and they did! Tony got them for her I think for Easter, so we've been waiting a while! Of course, all she did was try to get them off. I'll try again today to get her to wear them. Wish me luck!

New face

Abby has been making this face a lot lately. She usually does it when we walk outside, but she's started doing it when I lay her down to brush her teeth (she doesn't cooperate very much).

The cage

We ended up getting Abby a cage with some of her birthday and Christmas money. It's like a baby gate, but with six sides. She doesn't like being in the middle of the cage, so we decided to use it more like a divider. We just put it between her and an area where she shouldn't be. This way she can't wander out of sight :-)

T

All better

Yesterday was Abby's last "sick day". She was actually feeling much better but couldn't go to Tony and Kathy's house because Kathy was still sick. Here she is terrorizing Lexi with her new found energy. 

 

Chili's

We went to Chili's Saturday night. Abby was a little silly.  She figured she'd taste the table halfway through the meal!

Sick girl

Abby had a 102 fever yesterday and wasn't eating much.  We were in communication with a doctor on call over the evening. We saw her temp rise to 104 and then after taking a lukewarm bath, it went back down to 102. We scheduled an appt for her at the dr for this morning and the office called to let us know they had no power or heat so they would have to cancel her appt. She seems in better spirits today and her fever is down to 101.  We'll keep at it and are happy to be staying inside our nice warm house for the whole day instead of having to get out. She's eating a little bit of applesauce today so I think she's feeling better. 

Little drummer girl

Abby enjoyed the popcorn tin before we broke it open and started eating it :-). She thinks sea a drummer. 

Toy time

Snow day at home!

We got a few inches of snow last night and the roads haven't been cleared in our neighborhood, so I decided to work from home for the day and not drive Abby across town. She's hanging out during my conference call playing very nicely. That's my girl :-)
