Christmas at the Mall

While Adam was playing Scrooge at the mall this year, Abby decided she wanted to take some selfies. We also went and had her picture with Santa, which she really enjoyed. 

Peekaboo!

Abby has started hiding behind the shower curtain whenever she is in the bathroom. This particular time, I had just gotten all of her clothes off in the morning and ready to put her clothes on for the day. She hides and waits for me to come pull the curtain away and she yells "peekaboo!"

Rise and shine

Most mornings, Abby isn't a big fan of getting up. On the weekends, though, when we let her sleep as long as she wants, she always wakes up with a smile :-)

Tony found a bunch of little coin purses for Abby and she can't get enough of them. She wants to hold them all at the same time and is constantly asking..purse??

Abby loved opening presents on her birthday! Since then, every once in a while, she will look up at me and say, "presents?"  You just wait kiddo...you're about to hit the mother load!

This is Abby wanting a balloon instead of smiling like I'm trying to get her to do. She has learned what we want when we say that and avoids it all costs. 

Abby turned 2!

Since Adam and I are so busy with Christmas Eve Service rehearsals lately, we were unable to plan a birthday party for Abby. We decided to just get together with the family here and celebrate ourselves. Kathy really outdid herself with a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed party including an awesome cake that she made!  Abby loved it!  Here are a couple pics. Will post more tomorrow.
