Easter Saturday

So since Adam and I are both in the Easter services, Abby gets to hang out at all the services. She had a beautiful dress for Sunday, but I wanted her to have a cute outfit for Saturday too. Unfortunately, I waited until the end of the night right before her dinner to take a picture of it. It was kind of like a bloomer outfit? And when not screaming , she looked great in it :-)

Long legs big feet

So Abby measured in at 24 and 1/2 inches a couple if weeks ago. This picture shows how long she is!

Tummy time photo shoot

Here's Abby enjoying some good old tummy time on the boppy while sucking her hand (one of her favorite things to do now!).

Abby was really good while they took her blood pressure with the tiny cuff at the dr office.

Birds nest

Here's one of Abby's hair bows from a friend at church. It looks like a birds nest and is so cute on her head! I do think she's starting to look like me a little in this picture.

Carrier

I decided to use a carrier that some friends gave us to carry Abby around while I tried to get lunch made on Sunday. She wasn't too sure about it at first. Then she got comfortable sucking on her hand and all was good!

Grocery store stare down

I had to go to Kroger one day without Adam so I just piled Abby into the car and went. She had a strange stare going on almost the whole time we were there. She even had her hand up in the air frozen. Very weird. Then she went back to a normal face.

Tickle huh?

I've started tickling Abby sometimes. She's still not really sure why I'm doing it :-).

Mouth hands

This is a pretty common site these days. If Abby doesn't have a feeding vessel or pacifier in her mouth, she has one to two hands in there!

Munchkin dress

I was trying to take a picture if Abby in this cute dress and she wouldn't stretch her legs out. Instead, she would rather play the part of a munchkin!

Talk time

Abby has decided that us changing her diaper is a good time to hold a conversation. She will just coo and gurgle the whole time she's on the changing table.

Workin it out

Ok. This is one of my favorite pictures. I guess it has a bit of explanation behind it. So here goes. Abby almost always poops while she is eating. I guess she's staying regular! Well, this particular morning, she didn't. That's just a set up for an accident. So, instead of going ahead and changing her out if her nighttime diaper and into her clothes for the day, I decided to let her work it out in her rock n'play for a while. I needed to finish getting ready for the day, so I pulled it into the hall so she could watch me and I could watch her. She just kind of curled up into a ball, started chewing on her spit rag, and started pooping away! Very cute!

Daddy's girls

Adam was sitting on the couch and evidently just naturally attracts the ladies...

Chili's

Went to Chili's for dinner the other night because I had a coupon for a free dessert. Abby was so well behaved and let us eat our dinner--we decided to let her have some dessert. (Totally kidding...she's way too young for ice cream! Although Adam did say "it's just milk..." Silly boy).

The many faces of Abigail

Here are just a few of the faces Abby made in a 15 second time frame. It's hard to keep up with this girl!

Dinner time

We went to a new place in town-Martin's Barbque. The food was ok but Abby just sat there staring off into space the whole time. This is a new face for us :)

Fingers

It's official! Abby finds her fingers when she looses her pacifier! Fine by me--because she usually wakes up when she needs her pacifier and it has fallen out. Now. She just shoves her hand in her mouth! Very cute.

Pea coat

We're loving this pea coat that someone gave us. She's adorable in it, even if she slobbers down the front. I can't put a bib over it to hide the cuteness!

Bundle o baby

Abby still likes to be swaddled. Here she is one morning I came in to wake her up.

Slobber

Abby has begun to slobber constantly. This is what happens when we don't have a bib in her.

Pink bow

Hand chewing

Sometimes Abby takes a break from eating or sucking on a pacifier to chew on her hand. Adam was trying to convince her that she'd get more milk from the bottle...she didn't agree.

Posing

I propped Abby up on the couch one night and she seemed to be posing for me.

Washing hair

I combed her hair down after I washed her hair last night. It won't stay that way for long :)

Sweet angel

Abby got new hair clips this week. It holds her bangs back nicely and makes her look so sweet in the mornings :).

Boppy fun

Abby had an especially dramatic hair day this week. You can see her"shark fin " best while propped on her boppy.

Tummy time

The physical therapist has us doing some "side time" rather than tummy time a good bit to stretch out Abby's right side. She's fine with it once I get her settled and distracted. It took a while this time and right after she settled, she spit her pacifier out. Lexi was sitting there looking at me like, "it's not my kid, you get it!"

Mommy time

When Adam is at the church or some activity in the evenings, Abby and I get to have Mommy time together. Unfortunately, it's usually during her fussy time in the evenings. Here's us with her crying, and then during tummy time after.

Church dresses

I'm trying to remember to dress Abby in dresses for church since we have some she fits into now. This is one of my favorites!

Crazy hair

We know when it's time to give Abby a bath. The grease in her hair actually keeps her hair where we put it! Looks like we were telling ghost stories!
