Cradle ceremony

I was invited to bring my family to a cradle ceremony for an indian coworker that just had her baby. It's a tradition to receive blessings for the child. Without going into too much detail--it was very neat to see this tradition, but it took much longer than we were expecting. We were able to leave after a couple of hours so we could get Abby home and to bed. We spent the time trying to entertain her and keep her happy. She did really well.
